One of the elevated Obas in Ibadan land, the Osi Balogun of Ibadan who is also a beaded crown-wearing Ibadan high chief, Oba Lateef Adebimpe is dead.
According to report, Oba Adebimpe died on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, eleven days after the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin.
Cause of his death could not be ascertained as at time of filing this report but the deceased passed on at a well advanced age.
A source who preferred anonymity confirmed Oba Adebimpe’s passing to newsmen.
He said newsmen can also wait for official statement from relevant authority .
