The Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, has congratulated the people of Kogi State as the Confluence State clocks 34.
In a goodwill message, Dr. Abdullahi described the anniversary as a moment to reflect on the state’s history, resilience, and collective determination that have shaped its journey since creation in 1991.
He said Kogi remains richly endowed with human capital, natural resources, and strategic potential to drive innovation, industry, and sustainable development in the country.
“As we mark this milestone, we must look beyond our challenges and embrace the boundless opportunities ahead. With the right mix of vision, commitment, and collaboration, the future of Kogi is indeed full of promise,” he stated.
The ECN boss urged citizens of the state, both at home and in the diaspora, to continue to support Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration in its efforts to transform the state.
He added that the collective responsibility of all Kogites is to build a state that honors the sacrifices of its founding fathers while securing a brighter future for coming generations.
“Happy 34th Anniversary, Kogi State,” Dr. Abdullahi declared.
