The Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference will host a special legal and political discourse on constitutional balance on Saturday, June 21, 2025, featuring Chief Babatunde Ogala, SAN, OFR, as the special guest. Ogala, who serves as the Senior Legal Counsel to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Grand Patron of the platform, will lead discussions on pressing national issues.

Themed “Constitutional Balance: Local Government Autonomy and Presidential Powers in State Emergencies – A Legal and Political Discourse,” the session will spotlight ongoing constitutional debates, especially in light of the evolving political situation in Rivers State.

The virtual session is scheduled to be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM (Nigerian/UK time) and will be streamed across other global time zones, including New York, Toronto, Moscow, and Dubai.

Chief Ogala, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and renowned constitutional law expert, is expected to offer deep insights into the legal frameworks guiding federal interventions in state affairs and how these impact local government autonomy.

The conference will be hosted by Ambassador J.K. Adebola, MNIM, MCICN, Global Chairman of Renewed Hope Global and chief host of the virtual platform, which has consistently served as a credible avenue for civic engagement, connecting Nigerians weekly with key government figures, including Ministers, Special Advisers, and Directors-General.
