Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has reaffirmed his dedication to delivering the dividends of democracy and ensuring good governance for the people of the state.
In his Easter message titled “Renewed By The Resurrection: Advancing Peace, Unity and Good Governance,” the governor emphasized the significance of Easter as a season for reconciliation, unity, and renewed hope.
“As we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, I extend warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to all,” Fubara stated in a message personally signed and released in Port Harcourt on Saturday. “Easter is a sacred time that reminds us of the power of peace, the healing of broken hearts, and the restoration of hope.”
He added, “This season renews our confidence that no hardship or adversity can separate us from the love of God. In Christ, we remain victorious.”
The governor reiterated his unwavering commitment to good governance, promising to continue working for the welfare of Rivers people.
Looking beyond the state, Fubara encouraged citizens to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, expressing optimism for a brighter future.
“Let us not forget our collective strength. Together, united in peace and purpose, we can achieve the transformation we desire,” he said. “May the Risen Christ bless every home in Rivers State and beyond with peace, love, health, and renewed strength.”
“Happy Easter to you all!”
