The event was held at the Olubadan Palace, located at Oke Aremo in Ibadan North Local Government Area.

Those who were installed as Mogajis are: Mr. Giwa Adeboye Kamaldeen from Aliiwo Compound in Ibadan North East Local Government; Alhaji Kamorudeen Olalekan Adebimpe of Adebimpe family, Odinjo in Ibadan South East; Alhaji Muritala Iyanda Aloba of Aloba family, Inalende in Ibadan North; Engr. Kazeem Rabiu of Akinsumbo Compound, Oke-Balogun Opooyeosa in Ibadan North West; and Alhaji Kadir Yusuf Farayola of the Samonda family, Ile Samonda, Oje in Ibadan North East.

Others are: Mr. Olukayode David Oduntan Awise of Oduntan Awise Compound, Oke-Offa in Ibadan North East; Alhaji Abideen Mustapha of Eleko family, Kososi Street, Idi Arere in Ibadan South West; Mr. Yinusa Taiwo Ibilade Apapa of Apapa Compound, Labiran in Ibadan North East; and Alhaji Sholagbade Nureni Oladejo Arapaja of Arapaja family, Kudeti in Ibadan South West.

The two Baales installed are: Chief Raimi Ibrahim Edujobi from Edujobi village in Egbeda Local Government, and Mr. Morakinyo Muniru Fagbemi of Fagbemi village in Akinyele Local Government.

Oba Olakulehin, who spoke through the Ekaarun Balogun of Ibadanland, High Chief (Senator) Sharafadeen Alli, used the opportunity to warn traditional title holders in the ancient city against using their positions to oppress or intimidate their subjects.

The traditional ruler noted that the newly installed title holders are his representatives.

He added that they are expected to use their positions to maintain peace and tranquility in their respective domains.

He urged them to desist from actions that could tarnish the image of the traditional institution in the ancient city.

“Desist from any act that can tarnish the reputation of the traditional institution, such as land grabbing, insubordination to elders within your families, and oppression of family members whom you represent,” the Olubadan warned the newly installed chiefs.
