Recall that Atiku was Obasanjo’s deputy from 1999 to 2007.

The former number two citizen’s convoy arrived at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta at 12:36pm.

Accompanying Atiku were former Cross River and Sokoto governors – Liyel Imoke and Senator Aminu Tambuwal.

Also in the entourage was the senator representing Bauchi Central, Abdul Ningi. They were received by elder statesman, Oyewole Fasawe.

Emerging from the meeting at 2:11 p.m., Atiku told journalists that it was only a courtesy visit.

Following a barrage of questions from the newsmen, he said he would not make comments on political issues.

“It’s just a courtesy visit, please. I am not going to talk about politics,” Atiku said.
