The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Ismail Jibrin Falgore, who disclosed this while reading the governor’s letter on the floor of the house, said the names of the commissioner nominees were sent for screening and approval.

The nominees include Shehu Wada Sagagi, Abdulkadir Abdulsalam, Ibrahim A. Waiya, Dr. Isma’il Danmaraya, Ghaddafi Sani Shehu, and Dr. Dahir M. Hashim.

The nominees are expected to appear before the Kano State House of Assembly on Tuesday for screening.

Recall that Governor Yusuf had last Thursday carried out a major cabinet reshuffle that saw the Secretary to State government, Abdullahi Baffa Bichi; Chief of Staff, Shehu Sagagi; and five other commissioners relieved of their positions.
