The mother of former president of Nigeria, late Umaru Musa Yar’adua, Hajia Dada is dead.
According to report, she died at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Katsina after a brief illness on Monday.
The ex-president mother was also the mother of late Shehu Musa Yar’adua and Senator Abdulaziz Musa Yar’adua, the current Chairman, Senate Committee on Army.
Burial arrangement for the late Hajia Dada will be announced by the family soon.
Umaru Musa Yar’adua, who had previously served as the governor of Katsina State from 1999 to 2007, was elected as the president of Nigeria from 2007 till his demise in May 2010.
