In pursuits of its mandate, the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN) under the supervision of the Ministry of Innovation, Science and Technology will, on Saturday, August 10, 2024 flag off groundbreaking of the establishment of Barefoot Renewable Energy College in Kogi State.
The event scheduled to take place at the campus of the Confluence University of Science and Technology, Osara, Kogi State is to be hosted by the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer, Energy Commission of Nigeria, Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi.
Expected at the occasion include but not limited to the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, H.E Ahmed Usman Ododo, members of the National Assembly, State functionaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), traditional rulers, critical stakeholders in the Energy sector, as well as members of the public.
The epoch-making groundbreaking ceremony slated for 10.00am is an initiative of the country’s apex Energy Commission under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi. A further testament to the leadership deliverables of the Energy boss.
