Candidates of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have won all the chairmanship positions in Saturday’s local government election in Oyo State.
Returning Officers of Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC, across all the 33 local governments declared the results and returned the winner accordingly in the commission headquarters, Agodi gate, Ibadan.
Speaking after the announcement, Chairman of OYSIEC, Aare Isiaka Olagunju, appreciated the State Governor, Seyi Makinde, chiefs of the joints security, media , and members of the commission for their in the success of the election.
Aare Olagunju said the commission has noted the grey areas of the election and would work on it to avoid future reoccurrence.
Also speaking with newsmen, the re-elected chairman of Ibadan East local, Government, Honourable Ibrahim Akintayo hailed the process of the election.
