The City People Awards for Excellence 2024 has honoured His Excellency Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR with a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his remarkable leadership qualities and contributions to the development of Ogun State and Nigeria at large.
His Excellency Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola OFR, the immediate past Nigeria High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, a seasoned diplomat and public servant, was presented with the prestigious award at a ceremony held on Sunday, 28th April 2024 in Lagos. The award is a testament to his dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence in his various endeavors.
In his acceptance speech, Ambassador Isola expressed his gratitude to the organisers of the City People Awards for Excellence and the people of Ogun State for their support and encouragement. He said:
“I am humbled and honoured to receive this Lifetime Achievement Award. It is a recognition of my hard work and dedication in the past and present, and a testament to the power of leadership and vision. As I stand here today, I am reminded of the responsibility that comes with leadership, and I am more determined than ever to continue serving my people with integrity, compassion, and wisdom.
