A Kano House of Assembly member, Alhaji Halilu Ibrahim Kundila, who represented Shanono/Bagwai State Constituency, is dead.

A family source told DAILY POST that the lawmaker, who distributed palliatives to his constituents last week, died at his residence late on Saturday night after falling sick earlier that evening.

He added that a funeral prayer was held for the 59-year-old All Progressives Congress, APC, member on Sunday morning at Kundila, Shanono Local Government Area of Kano State.

He was buried in his hometown Shanono, with hundreds of sympathizers attending the funeral, among whom are House of Representatives members, representing Shanono/Bagwai, Hon. Yusuf Ahmad Badau.

Kundila is survived by four wives and 17 children.
