Iwo monarch declares mThe Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdur-Rasheed Akanbi has declared one Lateef Hassan of Belio compound, Iwo wanted over unlawful activities.

A statement personally signed by the monarch, said he placed a bounty of N50,000 on the said runaway suspect.

The monarch disclosed that the suspect has been causing unrest in some parts of the town recently and acting unlawfully around the town.

According to Oluwo, the suspect is found of attacking innocent residents of the town and he (Oluwo) would not condone such an act on his community.

The statement read “This is to inform the general public that one Lateef Hassan of Belio Compound, Iwo, has been declared wanted by the palace of the Oluwo of the Paramount Ruler of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr.) Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Telu I.

“Anyone who can produce him dead or alive will be compensated with cash gifts of N50,000.

“He has been causing public unrest and disorderliness in recent times. Just today, he attacked and macheted some people in Iwo for no reason.

“Information at our disposal revealed he is known for accosting and attacking innocent and unsuspecting settlers of Iwo.

“Criminals and criminalities of any form will not be condoned in Iwo and its environment. Anyone with such intention of thieving, attacking site workers and innocent citizens will not go scot-free”.
