A frontline Nollywood Actor, Mr Yul Edochie, has emerged the standard bearer of the Democratic People’s Congress for the November eighteenth governorship election in the State.
The Chairman of the electoral panel, Mr Chinedu Okoye, announced his emergence after unanimous decision by the delegates who converged on Awka for the primary election.
Similarly, Mr Stanley Nkwoka has emerged the standard bearer of the Accord Party for the forthcoming governorship election.
He was unanimously adopted as the candidate of the party, through a voice vote during a primary election held in Awka.
Delegates drawn from the twenty-one local government areas of the State affirmed the candidature of Mr Nkwoka without a dissent voice.
