Nigeria finish third as African Senior Athletics Championships end in Douala.
Ukraine exits Euros 2024 despite all four teams in Group E finish with four points.

Several reports had earlier claimed the former Real Sociedad player expressed interest in the job

Speaking to a radio station in Abuja on Wednesday, Adepoju said “I don’t know where this is coming from. I never applied for the Super Eagles coaching job in any moment.

“I had a podcast ten days to two weeks ago with Managing Madrid podcast in which we spoke about Real Madrid, my time with Real Madrid, when I was playing in La Liga, and nothing came in talking about the Super Eagles job”.

When asked if he has an interest in coaching any of Nigeria’s national teams, Adepoju answered: “I don’t want to do that at this moment.”
