Speaking at a special thanksgiving service in Akure, Ondo’s capital, Oke revealed that he had a near-death experience where he was flung out of a vehicle onto the highway but miraculously returned to life.

Detailing the incident, Oke explained that due to another driver’s recklessness, the vehicle he was traveling in attempted to avoid a head-on collision but was hit from the rear, causing it to somersault multiple times. Miraculously, Oke was thrown out of the vehicle, while his driver, personal assistant, and security detail remained trapped inside. The vehicle caught fire shortly after their escape.

Expressing gratitude, Oke proclaimed the intervention of God in his life, emphasizing the miraculous circumstances that saved him from further harm. He emphasized the need for an assembly to proclaim the goodness of God and declared his commitment to continuing his service to humanity, stating that he believes he has not completed his assignment on earth.

The event was attended by the acting governor of the state, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, and various dignitaries, marking a moment of reflection and thanksgiving for Oke’s survival.
