The Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, has urged students of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, AFCSC, Jaji, and all other military personnel to imbibe the virtues of dedication, commitment to duty and professional knowledge.

He gave the advice while speaking as a Special Guest of Honour at the regimental dinner night in honour of members of Junior Course 96 of the AFCSC on Wednesday in Jaji, Kaduna State.

Ogalla noted that the personnel’s need to display positive values of the military profession was even more tasking and useful in the present era and time of an unstable, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous operating environment.

According to him, modern-day operations are tackled with a sophisticated mix of intelligence, technology, and knowledge.

He, however, urged the military personnel to apply the operational knowledge gotten from the college to carry out all future tasks and prepare themselves for higher learning and opportunities in their various field.

The Naval Chief reminded the personnel, “Having been trained, the Armed Forces and your various organizations expect so much from you.

“Thus, I must emphasize the importance of discipline and professionalism in your career.”
