He further tasked candidates of various political parties to observe all rules and regulations guiding the bye-election that will be taking place in the five LGAs; Ohaozara, Onicha, Ivo, Afikpo North and Edda LGA.

According to him: “Before now, there was an agreement made for all to understand that the forthcoming Ebonyi south senatorial bye-election shouldn’t be a do-or-die affair.

“In APC, a consensus was reached, and everybody accepted the candidate, and so, there should be no problem to be entertained in the bye-election.

“The People of Ebonyi south senatorial zone are at home with APC, the way and manure things are being done in the state. There is no way we will put a candidate that the people will not accept.

Nkama further vowed to withdraw support from some members of the community, who had contested the election in 2023 and failed but still aimed at participating in Ebonyi south senatorial bye-election.

“We can’t support somebody who failed woefully in the last general election. We are not ready to re-enforce such a person and we are not going back. We are after the development and progress of the people of Edda LGA.
