Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu has made a special intervention of one billion Naira, this time to the victims of flooding in Mokwa, Niger State.
She made the donation on behalf of Renewed Hope Initiative in Minna, during a condolence visit to the state government and families affected by the flood.
Handing over the cheque sum and other relief items to the state governor, Umaru Bago, the First Lady noted that victims must be supported in their journey of recovery.
She also launched a separate intervention to support small and medium scale businesses among women of the state with the flagging off of RHI Women empowerment programme in conjunction with the Tony Elumelu Foundation.
