Report indicated that trouble began after Comrade Mustapha Salihu, National Vice Chairman of the ruling party in the North-East, endorsed Tinubu for the 2027 Presidential elections but refused to endorse Shettima.

The moment he finished his speech, delegates at the forum started to hurl insults at him, with some threatening to attack him physically, but he had to be escorted out of the meeting by security operatives.

Ganduje also did the same thing as he failed to mention Shettima throughout his 10 minute speech drawing the ire of the already incensed party members. He also had to be escorted out of the venue with heavy security.

Footage by this newspaper shows the moment some angry APC members harassed and dragged Ganduje’s blue Agbada clothing.
