A frontline Osun State governorship aspirant and former federal lawmaker, Senator Mudasiru Oyetunde Husain, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what he described as “undeniable managerial prowess” as Nigeria marks the second anniversary of the Tinubu administration.
In a congratulatory statement on Tuesday, Sen. Husain praised the President’s “bold leadership, impressive vision, and awe-inspiring transformation,” which he said are already yielding tangible dividends across the country through the Renewed Hope reform agenda.
“President Tinubu’s recalibration of the nation’s socioeconomic trajectory through key interventions—such as the removal of fuel subsidy and unification of foreign exchange rates—has rekindled hope and inspired confidence among Nigerians,” he said.
Citing recent international endorsements, Husain noted that the World Bank has reported Nigeria’s fastest economic growth in 2024, while the International Monetary Fund (IMF) confirmed that Nigeria had cleared its $3.4 billion debt incurred during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“These are testaments to Mr. President’s exceptional managerial ability and bold stewardship,” he added.
The senator, who is gunning for the Osun governorship seat in 2026, pledged to domesticate the Renewed Hope agenda in the state if elected. He stated that his goal is to align Osun with the progressive agenda at the centre and deliver transformational policies that will drive inclusive growth and development.
“As a progeny of Mr. President’s political philosophy, I am committed to ensuring that Osun people enjoy the full benefits of this administration through grassroots-oriented policies and programmes,” he said.
Sen. Husain called on Osun residents to rally behind President Tinubu’s government and support efforts aimed at building a more prosperous Nigeria.
“With Mr. President’s leadership and our collective resolve, we can make Osun and indeed Nigeria a better place for all,” he said
