The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested 148 suspects, including alleged kidnappers, armed robbers, and rapists, in a series of targeted operations across the state.
Spokesperson SP Suleiman Nguroje confirmed that 11 AK-47 rifles, 20 locally made guns, 110 rounds of ammunition, and three stolen vehicles were recovered during the raids.
The Command also deactivated two Boko Haram IEDs in Hong LGA and rescued six kidnapped victims with the help of other security agencies. The operations were part of a state-wide crime reduction strategy ordered by the Inspector-General of Police.
