He gave the commendation during a courtesy visit by a delegation of the Renewed Hope Global team led by *Ambassador J.K. Adebola, MINIM, MCICN*, Chairman, Renewed Hope United Kingdom and Chief Host of the Renewed Hope Global Virtual Town Hall Conference. He was accompanied by *Hon. Nick Apata*, Chairman, Renewed Hope Canada.

The visit, which held at the NOA headquarters in Abuja, provided a platform for robust engagement on matters of national orientation, ongoing reorientation campaigns, and the strategic role of Diaspora Nigerians in deepening civic consciousness and democratic values across the country.

Welcoming the delegation, Mallam Issa-Onilu described the Renewed Hope Global platform as a timely and strategic intervention that continues to bridge the gap between government and citizens both at home and abroad. He noted that the platform’s weekly town hall meetings have become a credible avenue through which public officials communicate key policy directions and reforms directly to Nigerians.

“I appreciate the patriotic zeal your team has consistently demonstrated. The Nigerian Diaspora represents an invaluable part of our national fabric, and your initiative through the Renewed Hope Global Town Hall Conference is truly commendable,” the DG stated.

Mallam Issa-Onilu, who had previously featured on the Renewed Hope Global platform, reaffirmed the NOA’s willingness to collaborate with credible Diaspora-led initiatives in furthering national orientation efforts, especially among young people and at the grassroots.

In his remarks, Ambassador J.K. Adebola expressed gratitude to the Director-General for the warm reception and his past participation in the global town hall series. He reiterated the commitment of the Renewed Hope Global initiative to the vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration through sustained dialogue, civic education, and public enlightenment.

“Our visit is to strengthen synergy and explore collaborative pathways that will amplify the Renewed Hope agenda. We believe national orientation is central to national rebirth, and we are committed to supporting the NOA in fostering patriotism, unity, and awareness,” Adebola said.

Also speaking, Hon. Nick Apata affirmed the readiness of Nigerians in Canada to continue supporting the Renewed Hope mission, adding that the Diaspora remains deeply invested in the success and progress of Nigeria.
