The Nigerians in Diaspora, under the banner of the Ondo State Indigenes in Diaspora (OSID), has congratulated Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his successful election as the Governor of Ondo State.

OSID hailed the victory as a clear demonstration of trust and confidence the people of Ondo State have in his leadership and for progressive vision.

In a statement issued by its leadership in The UnitedStates yesterday, OSID commended the people of Ondo State for turning out en-masse to vote and for conducting themselves peacefully throughout the election process.

The organization also appreciated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and security agencies for their contributions to such a transparent and credible election.

“As an organization committed to the development of Ondo State, OSID urges Governor Aiyedatiwa to fulfill the promises made during the campaign. We remain open to collaborating with his administration on advocacy, partnerships, and initiatives that promote growth, education, and economic stability,” the statement read.

The release was jointly signed by the following OSID officials:

**Professor Salewa Olafioye** – Global Chairman, OSID; Ex-Diplomat, United Nations (USA); President, Nigerian in Diaspora Think Tank (NDTT).

**Prince Apesinola Joshua** – Vice President, OSID (Canada).

**Dr. Joseph Olademeji Ojo** – Secretary General, OSID (Canada).

**Hon. Tunde Doherty** – Global Chairman, APC UK.

**Barrister Tomi Adeyinka** – Public Relations Officer, OSID (USA).

**Mr. Oluwaseun Adeya** – Treasurer, OSID (USA).

**Erelu Helen Famuwagun** – Social Secretary, OSID (USA).

**Segun Medunoye** – Director Information (Canada)
