The Renewed Hope Global has described the newly launched opposition alliance under the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as nothing more than a political refuge for displaced politicians desperate for relevance and appointments.

Reacting to the coalition meeting held in Abuja, the Chairman of Renewed Hope Global, Ambassador J.K. Adebola, said the coalition is “a gathering of political IDPs internally displaced politicians seeking cover under a borrowed banner after failing to earn the trust of Nigerians.”

According to him, the coalition is driven by personal ambition rather than national interest, and lacks the cohesion and vision to offer a serious alternative to the current administration.

“These are familiar faces who have been roundly rejected by the people, now attempting to rebrand as opposition saviours. Unfortunately, their agenda is not rooted in any credible programme, only in the hope of being noticed for appointments,” Adebola said.

He added that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu remains focused on the urgent task of national transformation and will not be distracted by political press conferences staged for media optics.

“President Tinubu is signing pro-people reforms into law. He is stabilising the economy, pushing tax reliefs, enforcing local government autonomy, and rebuilding national infrastructure. The results are beginning to show, and Nigerians can see through these tired political tactics,” he said.

Adebola noted that rather than distracting the government, the ADC coalition has further exposed the desperation among failed politicians seeking a second chance through the back door.

“The same people who once held power but failed to deliver are now the ones crying wolf. It is ironic that they suddenly remember the masses once they are out of government,” he stated.

The Renewed Hope Global platform urged Nigerians to remain firm in support of the Tinubu administration, assuring that the reforms currently being implemented are already laying a strong foundation for long-term growth, fairness, and stability.

“The President will not be derailed. The Renewed Hope Agenda is on course. And no political gathering of the desperate will change that,” Adebola said.
