Senator Mudashiru Husain, a respected political figure and key ally of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has officially declared his intention to contest the 2026 Osun State gubernatorial election under the banner of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Husain, who previously represented Osun West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, made his announcement during a well-attended event in Osogbo. The declaration drew APC leaders, party faithful, community stakeholders, and supporters from across the state.
