Singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, has taken a significant step toward his next chapter as he formally introduced his fiancée, Honourable Natasha Osawaru, to his native Idoma community in Benue State.

This move comes just days before their widely reported traditional wedding ceremony.

The music icon, who hails from Okpokwu in the Benue South Senatorial District, visited the Och’Idoma Palace in Otukpo on Monday, April 21, 2025, for an official introduction of his soon-to-be wife to the royal family and community elders. Dressed in regal Idoma attire, 2Baba and Natasha were warmly received by the Och’Idoma V and other dignitaries.

The palace visit, which was part of the Idoma Nation Peace and Unity Symposium, also doubled as a cultural rite of passage for Natasha, who hails from Edo State. With the couple standing before elders and traditional rulers, they were offered prayers and blessings for a harmonious and fruitful union.

Sources close to the family confirmed that 2Baba used the opportunity to seek the elders’ approval and spiritual support ahead of their upcoming wedding. “He reaffirmed his love and commitment to Natasha, and he was very intentional about receiving the elders’ blessing before any celebration,” a palace aide revealed.

According to a report by entertainment blogger Stella Dimoko Korkus, the traditional wedding is set to take place on Friday, April 25, 2025, in Benin City. While the couple has yet to officially confirm the date, preparations are said to be in top gear, with invitations extended to close friends and family members.

The development comes amid ongoing speculation about 2Baba’s relationship with his estranged wife, actress Annie Idibia. While neither party has publicly addressed their current marital status, it is evident that 2Baba is moving forward with a new chapter in his personal life.

Natasha Osawaru, a sitting legislator in Edo State, has been seen in public with 2Baba on several occasions in recent months. Their relationship has drawn both admiration and curiosity from fans, with many describing the couple’s bond as “refreshing” and “mature.”

2Baba, a father of seven, has long been celebrated for his transparency about fatherhood and relationships.

His decision to involve his native community in this new phase of life appears to reflect his continued respect for tradition and cultural values.
