Ekiti Queens held Nasarawa Amazons to a 2-2 draw in the Nigeria Women’s Football League (NWFL) match played at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Ibadan.

Nasarawa Amazons took the lead in the 7th minute through Jenat Akekoromowei. Ekiti Queens responded in the second half with a brace from Zaniab Ismail in the 57th and 60th minutes.

 

Hembafan Ayatsea equalised for Nasarawa Amazons in the 63rd minute.

 

Nasarawa Amazons remain in third position with 24 points, while Ekiti Queens stay in fifth place with 11 points.

 

Ekiti Queens are currently playing their home matches at the Lekan Salami Stadium due to ongoing renovations at the Oluyemi Kayode Stadium, Ado-Ekiti.
