When the name Senator Mudashiru Husain is mentioned in Osun politics, it rings a bell of purpose, integrity, and developmental impact. A seasoned administrator and legislator, his legacy continues to speak louder than words, and one shining example is his transformative effort in rural electrification across Osun West Senatorial District; these were the words of the Chairman of Osun Progressives Union, Hon. Jacob Ogunseye in a statement issued earlier today.

According to Ogunseye, during his tenure as the Senator representing Osun West Senatorial District, Sen. Husain oversaw the deployment of 30 units of 300/500kVA transformers strategically connected to the national grid across the 10 local governments in the senatorial district, gave life to communities that had long suffered darkness. This was not just electrification; it was empowerment for businesses, schools, hospitals, and households.

“Today, as the calls for his return to Osun’s top seat of leadership grow louder, particularly from groups like the Osun Progressive Union (OPU), Irorun De etc, we are reminded that true leadership is not in empty rhetoric, but in visible impact. Senator Husain has shown that with the right vision, Osun can shine brighter.

They call him ‘The Irorun De’ and rightly so. Because wherever he goes, great things follow. If he could deliver such transformation as a senator and federal commissioner, imagine what Osun State would look like with him at the helm as Governor. It is time for a tested hand, a humble heart, and a man of action.

The future of Osun deserves more light and Senator Mudashiru Husain is that light, the statement concluded.
