Senator Mudasiru Oyetunde Husain, former lawmaker representing Osun West Senatorial District, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic death of Hon. AbdulRaif Adekunle Adeniji, the Director of Administration at the national secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Senator described the demise of the director as a colossal loss to the party and the nation at large.
The late Adeniji, a seasoned administrator and dedicated party man, was reported dead after being abducted over two months ago.
His passing has thrown the APC family into mourning, particularly in his home state of Osun, where he was known for his exemplary service and loyalty to the progressive ideals of the party.
In his condolence message, Senator Husain noted that Hon. Adeniji was a man of peace, diligence and administrative finesse who contributed immensely to the growth and internal structure of the APC.
“I am deeply saddened by the lorss of a friend, a brother, and a dependable ally in the progressive journey. Hon. Adeniji was a pillar within our party structure, a technocrat with deep institutional memory and commitment to service,” Senator Husain said.
He also urged the relevant security agencies to intensify efforts in investigating the circumstances surrounding the unfortunate incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
Senator Husain extended heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of the APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the leadership and staff of the party, the government and people of Osun State, and the immediate family of the deceased.
He prayed for the repose of his soul and strength for the family to bear the irreparable loss.
