CBEX is the latest investment platform introduced into Nigeria over 6 months ago by Chinese that promises you 100% ROI in 1 month, plus bonus on referral that takes in deposit only in USD.

The China Beijing Equity Exchange (CBEX) was flagged in Hong Kong early 2024 for fraud, fake exchange and fake payouts.

In most Asian countries, it is considered a Ponzi scheme but Nigerians fell for it.

Customers were seen this morning gathered in their Ikeja officer with no one to address them or inform them as to why the site crashed and customers have been unable to make withdrawals.

One customer who spoke to us complained that he invested over $30k with hope of making double the money by the end of the month but he was shocked that the site has refused to open and he cannot withdraw his investment and there was no one present in their office to explain to thousands of customers who are gathered in their Ikeja office. Another unconsolable client had invested $60k which he borrowed from several sources.

Recall that CBN has been warning Nigerians to stop investing in online Ponzi schemes
