The Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, will be the special guest at this weekend’s Renewed Hope Global Town Hall Conference, where he will discuss critical issues surrounding education and national security, focusing on tackling Nigeria’s out-of-school crisis.

The session, scheduled for Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM (Nigeria time), will provide insights into the government’s strategies for improving access to quality education and ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to learn.

Dr Alausa, in a post on his X handle (formerly Twitter), called on Nigerians to be part of the conversation, emphasising the administration’s commitment to educational reform.

“Welcome to Q2 of 2025. As we continue our efforts toward enacting long-lasting change in the education sector, I invite you to join me at the Renewed Hope Virtual Town Hall Conference. We’ll be discussing ‘Education and National Security: Tackling Out-of-School Challenges and Renewed Hope Reforms,'” he stated.

The session will include a one-hour interactive Q&A, allowing participants to engage directly with the minister, seek clarifications, and share ideas on strengthening Nigeria’s education system.
