Ogunseye, in a statement made available to journalists, expressed deep concern over the situation, warning that continued violence could threaten the peace and stability of Osun State.

“The situation has reached a critical point where innocent lives are at stake. We cannot stand by and allow this cycle of violence to continue,” Ogunseye said. “I urge Governor Adeleke to take swift action to restore peace, ensure security, and provide support to the affected communities.”

The United Kingdom based politician stressed the need for urgent intervention by security agencies, adding that only a decisive response from the government could prevent further bloodshed.

Ogunseye appealed to local leaders and residents for peace, calling on warring factions to embrace dialogue and reconciliation. he emphasized that long term peace could only be achieved through genuine engagement among the affected communities.

“I implore all stakeholders, including traditional rulers, security agencies, and civil society groups, to work together in addressing the root causes of this conflict,” he added.
