As stated in the memo, only 11 directors successfully passed and will advance to the next stage of the selection process, set for Wednesday, February 12.

Earlier, the Federal Government, through the Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, had announced the commencement of the selection exercise to fill vacant permanent secretary positions.

In a separate memo, the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Didi Walson-Jack, noted that officials facing disciplinary actions were ineligible to apply.

The memo further confirmed that President Bola Tinubu had given approval for the appointment process.

Furthermore, it highlighted that only candidates from designated states qualified to participate, ensuring adherence to the Federal Character principle.
