Apparently dazed by INEC’s unforeseen failure to provide witnesses and the Commission’s shocking decision to close its case at the resumed hearing of the Edo election petitions tribunal in Abuja, on Thursday, tactically pulling out of the case, the APC disoriented, has planned to use a number of its party faithful as witnesses.

Subsequently, Kabaka, Tenebe, Ebo Stone, Shaibu, Egogo (the hype man), Baroko, Adjoto, the suspended Lawani and others have been penciled for the task.

It is rather concerning that APC’s potential witnesses, having failed woefully in their various units, will be mounting the booth to testify, in an attempt to defend Okpebholo’s controversial victory; political watchers has laughed over APC’s attempt to field the above as witnesses.

While the Party is currently very confused, lost, following INEC’s dramatic display today, its lawyers have advised that they quickly put together a number of party faithful to act as witnesses; others have advised the Party to plead for extended adjournment on Monday, to waste judicial time, amid their unpreparedness.

Following INEC’s failure to provide witnesses and subsequent close of its case, lawyers to APC were left overwhelmed, begging the Justice Wilfred Kpochi-led-3-member tribunal till Monday 10, to start their defense as they were not ready on Thursday.

Until now, INEC had been APC/Okpebholo’s only life-support to navigate the legal huddles, today’s dramatic development has however left the Party gasping for breath, disillusioned, disoriented, confused and lost on what next to do.
