Renewed Hope United Kingdom, the foremost Diaspora group advocating progressive governance and the Renewed Hope Agenda, successfully held its executive meeting on Saturday, January 25, 2025, in London, United Kingdom. This crucial gathering sets the stage for the upcoming general meeting, the date of which will be announced soon.

The meeting brought together executives from across the UK to deliberate on the organisation’s direction for the year ahead, assess past achievements and challenges, and reinforce their commitment to supporting its members, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

During the meeting, executives developed a comprehensive roadmap to drive impactful initiatives throughout 2025. Discussions centred on strengthening grassroots mobilisation, increasing political engagement, and creating stronger ties between the Nigerian Diaspora and Nigerian leadership. Plans were agreed to introduce programs that enhance the welfare and participation of UK-based members in national and political affairs. The group also reaffirmed its commitment to advancing the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda by mobilising support for government policies and contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s socio-political development.

The session also reflected on the achievements and challenges of the past year (2024), drawing valuable lessons on improving and building upon previous successes. Despite some hurdles faced, the collective resolve was to overcome them with greater efficiency, innovation, and collaboration in 2025.

Executive members from all six geopolitical regions of Nigeria, represented in the UK, had the opportunity to share their perspectives on critical issues affecting both the Diaspora community and the APC-led government. A unanimous consensus emerged: to move forward with renewed energy and determination, ensuring that 2025 yields even greater successes for Renewed Hope UK, the progressive party, and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

In attendance at the meeting were the chairman, Amb. Joseph Kolawole Adebola, High Chief Chris IK Onumonu, Chief Seun Baiyewu, Mrs. Carolyn Adelakun, Lady Edith Nwanchuku, Dr. Habib Damagun, Mrs. Deborah Fatogun, and a host of other executive members.

The meeting concluded with a strong commitment to increasing political inclusivity, strengthening the party’s influence, and actively contributing to the realisation of the Renewed Hope vision both in Nigeria and among the Diaspora.

Signed
