President Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned to Abuja on Tuesday night after spending the Christmas and New Year holidays in Lagos State.

The president’s return also followed his participation as the Special Guest of Honour at the inauguration of Ghana’s newly elected President, Mr. John Dramani Mahama.

Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, to celebrate the holiday season.

He was warmly received at the Presidential Wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport by Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Deputy Governor Obafemi Hamzat, and other cabinet members.

Before heading to Lagos for the holidays, President Tinubu had presented the 2025 national budget, amounting to N47.9 trillion, during a joint session of the National Assembly in Abuja.
