Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, are currently in some parts of Akure, the Ondo State capital, to prevent vote buying in the ongoing governorship election in the state.
Some of the operatives were spotted at the Sacred Heart Primary School, Cathedral, Akure.
THE REFLECTORS NEWSPAPER REPORTS that party agents of two popular political parties stormed the Anglican Primary School in the Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State with cash.
The election started at about 8:30 am in several polling units while some places experienced delays due to late arrival of election materials.
