While meeting with the indigenes of the Osun in Akure, Ondo State capital, Adeleke appealed that the best way for the people to express their love for him was to rally support for Ajayi at the poll.

Adeleke emphasised that the All Progressives Congress-led administration in the state must be voted out in order for meaningful development to take place.

The Osun governor stressed that the hardship being experienced by Nigerians should serve as a lesson that must not be repeated in the future.

He advised the Ondo state indigenes to vote Ajayi in order to join the League of States witnessing unprecedented development in the south-west region.

He said, “I want to urge you to go out and spread the gospel and the crusade that Ondo will experience light, and light is coming to Ondo State, and the sun shall shine again.

“Tell our people that I am solidly behind Ajayi to ensure victory for him; embark on a house-to-house campaign. We need to work hard to ensure victory.”
