As a leading advocate, the council is intensifying its efforts for the full participation of Nigerians in the Diaspora in the electoral process. We firmly believe that allowing Nigerians abroad to vote is essential to strengthening our democracy and deepening the connection between the homeland and the millions of citizens contributing to our national development from different corners of the world. As we celebrate this milestone of independence, we also emphasise the importance of granting Diaspora voting rights by amending the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
