In a condolence message signed by the Chairman, Engr Fawole Taiwo, and Secretary, Comrade Wole Abisoye, the group described Omodewu’s death as a “heavy blow to the progressive family in Oyo State and indeed the entire nation”.

*Progressives Yes Forum (PYF) Condolence Message on the Passing of the APC Oyo State Chairman*

With profound sadness, we, the members of the Progressives Yes Forum (PYF), received the devastating news of the passing of the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State Hon Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, who died while in America.

This loss is a heavy blow to the progressive family in Oyo State and indeed the entire nation. The Chairman was a beacon of leadership, dedication, and service, whose contributions to the growth and unity of our party in Oyo State cannot be overstated. His commitment to the ideals of the APC, his vision for a better Oyo State, and his tireless work in promoting good governance will be sorely missed.

His journey in America, where he passed on, is a testament to his dedication to continuous improvement and international engagement on behalf of our great party. His absence leaves a void that will be difficult to fill, but his legacy will continue to inspire us all.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, and the entire APC family in Oyo State. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this incredibly challenging time. We pray that the Almighty God grants them the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss and that He grants the departed eternal rest.

In this moment of grief, let us also find strength in the values he upheld—integrity, commitment, and a deep love for his people and country. As we mourn his passing, let us rededicate ourselves to the progressive cause he so passionately championed.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Signed,
Engr. Fawole Taiwo GComrade Wole Abisoye
Secretary, Progressives Yes Forum (PYF)Chairman
