Former Oyo Commissioner Returns to APC, Slams Governor Makinde

Ibadan, Oyo State – In a surprising turn of events, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan, a former Commissioner for Health in Oyo State, has defected back to the All Progressives Congress (APC) after a 16-month hiatus. Eaglessightnews has gathered.

Adeduntan, a renowned cardiovascular surgeon, had initially left the APC to PDP to support Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election bid. However, he has now rejoined the party, citing disappointment with Makinde’s leadership style.

In a statement gathered from sources ,including some online news platform , Adeduntan accused Governor Makinde of prioritizing loyalty over competence, stating that the governor “prefers minions who are servile and obedient over people with superior intellect.”

Adeduntan also alleged that Makinde has ignored his calls and those of other party members, leading to a sense of disenfranchisement among his supporters.

This development is seen as a significant blow to Governor Makinde’s administration, as Adeduntan is a respected figure in the state’s political landscape.

Meanwhile, Eaglessightnews still await response and reaction to the effort made in reaching to Oyo State Government top functionaries within the state and the Party PDP as regards this report. as at the pressing time.

This development is seen as a significant blow to Governor Makinde’s administration. Stay tuned for further updates as this story unfolds.
