Speaking during a condolence visit, the Governor described the death of Daniyan as a great loss not only to the Ringim emirate but to Jigawa state at large.

He said the late Sagir was a young and promising prince who was loved by the people of his district and beyond because of his simplicity, kindness and service to humanity.

Governor Namadi then prayed Almighty Allah to grant late Sagir eternal rest in Jannatul Firdausi and give fortitude to the Ringim emirate to bear the irreversible loss.

Before his death, Sagir was Daniyan Ringim, the district head of Kanya Maikaho and also a staff of the Federal Capital Development Authority Abuja, FCDA.

The late Daniyan Ringim was survived by one wife, two children and his father His Highness Sayyadi Mahmud Ringim and has since been buried according to Islamic rite

Late Sagir was the number six son out of the 23 children of the Ringim Emir Alhaji Sayyadi Mahmoud.
