Labour had warned earlier that the government that a token increase on the initially proposed N60,000 would be rejected.

The Federal Government has increased its minimum offer to Organised Labour from N60,000 to N62,000.

However, organised labour has proposed N250,000, a massive shift from its earlier stance of N494,000.
The new government’s offer is a paltry addition to the proposal, which led to suspended industrial.
