The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Kogi State on Surveillance, Chief Iweha Empire, disclosed this in Lokoja on Wednesday.

Empire noted that the government will deploy the latest technology to stamp out all crimes and criminalities across the 21 local government areas of Kogi State.

He admonished the people of the state to accept their responsibilities and join hands with security agencies to fight crimes, as security is everybody’s business.

“We are calling on the people of Kogi State to come together irrespective of tribes, religion and political affiliations to transform our state, as this is the only state we can call our own,” he added.

According to him: “Security is not just for the government alone. People are expected to say something when they see something. Nobody is safe and secured until everybody’s security is guaranteed.”

He vowed that, through technological intelligence, criminal elements would relocate from Kogi State.
