Chelsea FC has agreed to terms with Enzo Maresca to become the club’s new manager, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The agreement is confirmed, and the contract will run until June 2029, with an option to extend until June 2030.
Maresca, currently the manager of Leicester City, has impressed the Chelsea hierarchy with his impressive work at the King Power Stadium, leading the Foxes to promotion back to the Premier League in his first season in charge.
As part of the deal, Chelsea will pay a compensation fee in excess of €10 million to Leicester City, a matter that is expected to be finalized soon.
