The actor issued the warning during a recent event that was shared on social media.

In a viral video, Kanayo advised parents to instill the practice of interrogating their children about where and how they got things, claiming that their lax attitude was developing more corrupt mindsets in their kids.

He cautioned parents to be wary of receiving pricey gifts from their children, especially when they are not gainfully employed.

“Your daughter is 20, she is using a phone of N1.5 m, then she gives you N100,000 and you fail to ask questions about the source. You wouldn’t live long,” Kanayo said,

“That is what is killing a lot of parents. Your son who is not working returns home with some money or a car, and you do not ask questions. I’m warning you.”
