Professor Anthony Okorie Ani, elected as the party’s flagbearer for the Ebonyi South Senatorial District, and Fuad Kayode-Laguda, who won to represent Surulere 1Federal Constituency in Lagos State, were lauded alongside other successful candidates by the party’s UK chapter.

In a statement released to the press by Publicity Secretary Jacob Ogunseye, APC UK Chairman J K Adebola hailed the primary elections in various Nigerian states as transparent and democratic exercises. He declared the elected candidates “best equipped to secure victory for the party” and highlighted their potential to “make significant contributions to both the APC and the nation’s development.”

“The calibre of individuals who emerged victorious is undeniable,” Adebola enthused. “These esteemed personalities possess the necessary qualities to win their respective elections and bring their valuable knowledge and experience to bear, both for the party’s growth and the continued strengthening of our democracy.”

Adebola expressed strong confidence in the APC’s success, citing “the party’s proven track record and the widespread positive reception of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.” He pledged the UK chapter’s continued support, stating, “As a united force, we will dedicate ourselves to securing the party’s triumph across all constituencies on February 3rd.”
