The Benue State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) say it has noted the planned departure to the All Progressives Congress (APC) of two of its officials, namely Hon. Vincent Yandev Amaabai a National Ex-officio; and Hon. Mbakorlumun James Chia State Vice-Chairman for Benue North-West (Zone “B”) Senatorial District.
Both officials have been listed to be received into the ruling APC at a ceremony slated for tomorrow, 4th January, 2024, and the party wishes them well in their continuing political foraging.
PDP understands that migration of politicians of a particular kind from the opposition to the ruling party has become a common feature of our politics, and sees nothing unusual about this current episode of it.
Our great party will, in line with its laws, fill up their vacated positions with competent hands in the shortest time.
