Shahida Saidu Galadima, the third wife of Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya, former gubernatorial candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, in Nasarawa State, has passed away.

The sad news was confirmed by Isa Majinyawa, a grassroots politician close to the family.

Shahida Saidu Galadima breathed her last on Tuesday night after an illness.

The burial ceremony, in accordance with Islamic traditions, has been scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 27, at 9:00 am.

The final rites will be conducted at Angwan Wajen Rabo, in Lafia, the state capital.

Alhaji Abdullahi Yakubu Maidoya, a prominent businessman and politician, gained recognition as the NNPP gubernatorial candidate in the 2023 general elections, where he secured a commendable third position.
